So you want to know more about me?

I am a writer, developer, and (retired) blogger living in central Illinois. My primary interests include technology (Windows, Mac, and Linux), open source software, life hacks and David Allen’s GTD process. My interests also include social media, design, architecture, psychology, photography, and mobile computing. In addition to writing, I have a varied background which includes web development and computer programming. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Information Technology, and I am currently a third year MBA student–finishing my last four classes!

I also enjoy running, and I am training for my first marathon. I love pizza, Italian food, and Fighting Illini sports.

Past Work

I have written for a variety of well known publications including two Technorati Top 100 weblogs: Lifehacker and Lifehack.org. Lifehacker is a productivity and software guide owned by Gawker Media. Lifehacker is ranked as one of the top 10 most popular weblogs in the world and has been referenced by a variety of mainstream publications including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, TIME Magazine, and PC Magazine.  

I have also written for Stepcase’s Lifehack.org. Lifehack.org is a blog about productivity and GTD and has also been featured in a variety of mainstream publications including The Washington Post, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Laptop Magazine, and TIME Magazine.
